We knew that these rooms had to have a special detail and we confirmed this when, when doing the integral reform of the accommodation, the original structure came to light, those wooden beams, which for more than 100 years remain part of this building. That was our key to dedicating our decoration to the two neighborhoods with the largest number of green areas in the city: El Barrio de Palacio and Barrio de Chamberi.
El Barrio de Palacio.- It is the neighborhood where the city was born and began to grow. The Royal Palace and the Cathedral are the landmarks. However, our inspiration for the decoration comes from a small detail, we discovered that the Palacio neighborhood has one of the largest green areas in the city. Walking through the gardens that surround the palace, crossing the Atenas park from the top of the aqueduct and sitting on the lawn to watch the sunset in the Vistillas garden is just the beginning of what this neighborhood has to offer its visitors.
The Chamberi neighborhood.- It was a neighborhood full of small palaces that housed the king's court and some bourgeois families in the 16th century, and in this case for decoration, only part of our original structure had to be left out, since those beams are proof that our building was once a small palace built in 1886, like many of those that were built simultaneously in the Chamberi neighborhood.
